The Untouched Topic.

Written by Niharika Roy

Being a girl, Menstrual Cycle is a typo that flows like love in any girl's life; it is just that every girl is confused about loving it or not? Alternatively, how to love it? We are told that it's a process of impure blood coming out of us, one of the main reasons any girl sustains this cycle.

But, have you ever realised that the word "MENSTRUAL CYCLE" has MEN in it? But, when I try to understand the depth, then what it is that they are helping us in this cycle with? Obviously, until they are even physically and mentally available for us to sustain these 5 to 7 days, some men do that help too!

The cycle of life for anyone starts with birth. When a child is born, the mother loses a lot of blood with the gain of fresh and wonderful memories coming into the lives of the family members. Since childhood, the boys and girls are given equal values and love; Yes, exceptions are always there! One's arrival in the family is celebrated and enjoyed while other's is creating difficulties. People are bit off-shy to talk about it, but to be honest, they aren't 'SHY.' They just feel that this topic is not to be discussed openly as this topic is too PRIVATE!

Girls are always told not to talk about it publicly! But no one tells about the feeling of fright when a 13-14 years old girl looks at her blood coming down and the pain flowing out with it.

But biologically she is turning into a women, women or girl?

Always people discuss about the pain girls go through every month (for 5 to 7 days). However, this cycle is not just limited to the flow of the blood and the pain that accompanies it. It is also mixed with other problems too. PCOD or PCOS is the problem that some of the girls face. It stands for Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), also known as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent condition affecting 5% to 10% of women in the age group 12–45 years. It is a problem in which a woman’s hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with menstrual periods and makes it difficult for her to conceive.

That problem is also heart breaking, and the pain of the flow is even heartbreaking; a girl is always confused about what she should have wished for? "Periods or No Periods" as both are problematic. Still, people neglect that pain since they are shy talking about it.

Coming back to 5 Day cycle of hardship, have you ever realized that this word, "MENSTRUATION," has "MEN" in it.

Whereas there is no pain or harm of this cycle in their lives. Hard truth but honest one that the women should receive the full value of this painful cycles with respect, WOMEN!

This is the period of the month where every girl needs moral support and love from the people around her! That warm hug, which conveys the true meaning of standing with them in the hardships! Stand with all the women and respect them.
